Understanding Domestic Violence: Case Studies on Filipino Migrant Women in Japan

This study provides important basic information on Filipino migrants in Japan, particularly Filipinas in domestic violence situations – who they are, why they marry or have relationship with foreigners, particularly Japanese men, their experiences and survival mechanisms, views about domestic violence and other issues affecting them, and perspectives in Japan.
